Welcome to Work & Worker. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Work & Worker website, services and features.

By accessing, registering on, submitting information to, or using Work & Worker, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the website or submit a post/profile.

1. About Work & Worker

Work & Worker is an online platform intended to help connect people and organisations offering jobs or other forms of work with individuals seeking jobs, services, projects or other work opportunities.

The platform provides four primary categories:

Job Offer – for users offering employment opportunities.
Job Seeker – for users seeking employment opportunities.
Work Offer – for users offering services, projects or other forms of work.
Work Seeker – for users looking for work, services, projects or other work opportunities.

Work & Worker primarily acts as a platform for connecting users. Unless expressly stated otherwise,

Work & Worker is not the employer, employee, contractor, agent, recruiter or representative of users who interact through the platform.

2. Eligibility

By using Work & Worker, you confirm that:

The information you provide is accurate and belongs to you or you are authorised to provide it.
You are legally permitted to use the services you are requesting or offering.
You will not use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or abusive purposes.
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
If you provide information relating to another person, you have the necessary authority or permission to provide that information.

Work & Worker may restrict or remove access where information appears to be false, misleading, fraudulent or in violation of these Terms.

3. User-Submitted Information

Users may submit information including, where applicable:

Name
Phone number
Email address
Location
Job or work details
Experience and qualifications
Skills and services
Business or organisation information
Other information requested through the relevant registration or posting form

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit is accurate, current and not misleading.

You must not submit another person's personal information without appropriate permission or lawful authority.

4. Public Display of Contact Information

Work & Worker handles contact information according to the user's registration category and applicable privacy preferences.

4.1 Job Seekers and Work Seekers

Personal contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses, submitted by Job Seekers and Work Seekers will not be publicly displayed on their profiles.

Selected professional information may be displayed publicly to help employers, recruiters, clients and Work Providers identify suitable individuals.

Contact information may be shared privately with verified employers, recruiters, recruitment agencies, clients or Work Providers following an approved request, subject to valid consent and applicable law.

4.2 Job Providers and Work Providers

Phone numbers and email addresses submitted by Job Providers and Work Providers may be publicly displayed where the relevant user has specifically authorized such display.

Users should understand that publicly displayed information may be accessed, copied or stored by third parties.

4.3 Contact Information Protection

Work & Worker may verify contact requests, restrict unauthorized access and reject requests that appear fraudulent, misleading or unrelated to legitimate job or work opportunities.

Users must not misuse any personal information obtained through the platform.

5. User Responsibility for Public Contact Information

Users acknowledge that information intentionally displayed publicly on Work & Worker may be viewed, copied, saved, shared or indexed by third parties.

Job Seeker and Work Seeker personal phone numbers and email addresses will not be publicly displayed.

Job Providers and Work Providers who authorize public display of their contact details should consider the information they choose to publish.

Users must not submit confidential financial information, passwords, authentication codes or other unnecessary sensitive personal information in publicly accessible fields.

Work & Worker cannot guarantee the removal of information independently copied or retained by third parties.

6. Use of Contact Information

Contact information obtained through Work & Worker, whether publicly displayed with authorization or privately shared following an approved request, must be used only for genuine job, recruitment, work or service-related purposes.

Users must not use contact information for:

Spam or bulk messaging.
Unsolicited marketing.
Harassment, threats or intimidation.
Fraudulent recruitment activities.
Phishing or identity theft.
Unauthorized collection or resale of personal information.
Creation of unauthorized contact databases.
Public redistribution without permission.
Any unlawful or unrelated purpose.

Recipients of privately shared contact information must respect the individual's privacy and use the information only for the authorized purpose.

Work & Worker may restrict or suspend access where misuse is identified.

7. Accuracy of Job and Work Information

Work & Worker does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability or authenticity of every job, work opportunity, profile, service or user-submitted claim appearing on the platform.

Users are responsible for independently verifying important information before entering into any employment, service, financial, contractual or other arrangement with another user.

Work & Worker does not guarantee:

Employment or selection.
That a job opportunity is genuine.
That a work opportunity will be completed.
That a user will respond to enquiries.
The qualifications, experience or identity of another user.
The quality, safety or legality of services offered by users.
Payment or compensation between users.

8. No Employment or Service Guarantee

Work & Worker is a connecting platform and does not itself guarantee employment, recruitment, contracts, projects, services or payments between users.

Any agreement, employment relationship, service arrangement, project, payment or transaction entered into between users is between those users unless Work & Worker expressly states otherwise.

Users are responsible for carrying out their own verification and due diligence before proceeding with any opportunity or arrangement.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Post false, misleading or fraudulent information.
Impersonate another person, company or organisation.
Create misleading profiles or posts.
Post illegal or prohibited content.
Use the platform to facilitate scams or fraudulent activities.
Harass, threaten or abuse another user.
Collect or misuse other users' personal information.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems.
Introduce malware, viruses or other harmful code.
Scrape, copy or systematically collect website data without permission.
Use automated systems to collect user information without authorisation.
Post the same or substantially similar content repeatedly for the purpose of manipulating the platform.
Use another person's contact details without appropriate permission.
Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable law.

10. User Content and Verification

Users are responsible for the content and information they submit.

Work & Worker may review, moderate, restrict, edit where reasonably necessary for platform operation, reject, suspend or remove content or profiles that:

Violate these Terms.
Appear fraudulent or misleading.
Contain prohibited content.
Create a safety or privacy concern.
Receive a credible complaint.
Violate applicable law.
May harm the integrity or security of the platform.

Work & Worker may request additional information or clarification where reasonably necessary to investigate a complaint or suspected violation.

11. Removal of Posts or Profiles

Work & Worker may remove, suspend or restrict access to a post or profile where there is a reasonable basis to believe that it violates these Terms, applicable law, platform policies or creates a safety, fraud, privacy or security concern.

Users may also contact Work & Worker to request removal of their own post or profile.

Removal requests may be subject to reasonable verification to prevent unauthorised removal of another person's information.

12. Fraud and Safety

Users should exercise caution when communicating with other users.

Work & Worker does not guarantee that every person, job, work opportunity, service or offer published on the platform has been independently verified.

Users should independently verify important details before:

Sharing sensitive personal information.
Paying money.
Accepting a job.
Providing services.
Travelling to a location.
Sharing identity documents.
Entering into an employment or business arrangement.

Work & Worker should be informed of suspected scams, fraudulent activity, impersonation, threats, abusive behaviour or other serious violations.

13. Payments and Financial Transactions

Work & Worker primarily operates as a platform connecting individuals, employers, recruiters, businesses, clients and service providers.

Work & Worker does not ordinarily process, guarantee or control payments made directly between users for employment, assignments, projects or services.

Users are responsible for independently verifying any financial arrangements entered into with other users.

Work & Worker may offer additional platform services subject to separate commercial terms, conditions or applicable charges. Where such services are introduced, relevant terms will be communicated before purchase.

Users should remain cautious of requests for unauthorized registration fees, advance payments, security deposits, banking credentials, OTPs or other sensitive financial information.

Any payment arrangement between users is undertaken at their own risk, subject to applicable law.

14. Privacy and Personal Data

Use of Work & Worker is subject to our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, displayed, protected and shared.

Job Seeker and Work Seeker phone numbers and email addresses will not be publicly displayed.

Such contact information may be shared privately with verified employers, recruiters, clients or Work Providers for genuine employment or work-related purposes, subject to valid consent and applicable law.

Users may exercise applicable privacy rights, including requesting correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent for future sharing.

Users are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal information.

15. Consent to Public Contact Display

Work & Worker may obtain specific consent through registration forms, checkboxes or other appropriate methods.

15.1 Job Seekers and Work Seekers

Job Seekers and Work Seekers may consent to the private sharing of their phone numbers and email addresses with verified employers, recruiters, recruitment agencies, clients or Work Providers for suitable job or work opportunities.

Their personal contact information will not be publicly displayed.

Consent to private sharing does not authorize unrestricted public disclosure or use for unrelated purposes.

15.2 Job Providers and Work Providers

Job Providers and Work Providers may consent to the public display of their submitted contact information to allow interested candidates or workers to contact them regarding the relevant opportunity.

15.3 Withdrawal of Consent

Users may request withdrawal of consent for future sharing or display of their personal contact information, subject to applicable law.

Withdrawal does not automatically reverse disclosures lawfully completed before the withdrawal.

15.4 Consent Requirements

Where separate consent is required, Work & Worker will request it through an appropriate mechanism.

Agreement to these Terms & Conditions does not automatically authorize every use or disclosure of personal information.

16. Intellectual Property

The Work & Worker name, branding, logos, website design, graphics, text, software and other platform materials may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit Work & Worker materials without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

Users retain responsibility for the content they submit and must ensure that they have the necessary rights to submit such content.

By submitting content to Work & Worker, you grant Work & Worker permission to host, store, display and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, promote and improve the platform, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

17. Third-Party Links and Services

Work & Worker may contain links or references to third-party websites, services or resources.

Work & Worker does not necessarily control or endorse third-party websites or services and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or activities.

Users should review the applicable terms and privacy policies of third-party services before using them.

18. Website Availability

Work & Worker aims to keep the platform available and functional but does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or available.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, updates, security measures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

19. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Work & Worker is not responsible for losses, damages, disputes or consequences arising directly or indirectly from:

Interactions between users.
False or misleading information submitted by users.
Employment or service arrangements between users.
Payments or financial transactions between users.
Misuse of publicly displayed contact information by third parties.
Unauthorised copying or distribution of publicly available information.
Fraud, scams or misconduct by users.
Third-party websites or services.
Technical interruptions or security incidents beyond reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

20. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the platform, unlawful conduct, or content/information submitted by you.

21. Suspension or Termination

Work & Worker may suspend, restrict or terminate access to a user, post or profile where reasonably necessary because of:

Violation of these Terms.
Suspected fraud or abuse.
Misleading or false information.
Safety or security concerns.
Repeated complaints.
Unlawful activity.
Requests or requirements under applicable law.

Termination or suspension does not necessarily remove obligations that are intended to continue after termination.

22. Changes to These Terms

Work & Worker may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, services, legal requirements or operating practices.

The updated Terms will be published on the website with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the platform after the updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts or authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law.

24. Grievances and Complaints

If you believe that:

Your personal information is being misused;
Your contact information has been displayed incorrectly;
A post or profile violates these Terms;
You have encountered fraud, abuse or inappropriate content; or
You have another concern regarding the platform,

you may contact Work & Worker through the Contact Us page.

Where appropriate, please provide the relevant post/profile details so that the matter can be reviewed.

25. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a Job Offer, Job Seeker, Work Offer or Work Seeker form, users acknowledge and agree that:

They have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
Information submitted is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
They are responsible for the information they submit.
Selected profile or listing information may be publicly displayed as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Job Seeker and Work Seeker personal phone numbers and email addresses will not be publicly displayed.
Job Seeker and Work Seeker contact information may be shared privately with verified requesters where valid consent and applicable legal requirements permit.
Job Provider and Work Provider contact information may be displayed publicly.
They must use the platform responsibly and lawfully.
Their personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

\Where separate consent is required, submission of a form or acceptance of these Terms does not replace that consent.

Users who do not agree to these Terms should not use the relevant services.

26. Contact Information Requests and Access Conditions

Employers, recruiters, recruitment agencies, clients and Work Providers may request contact information for registered Job Seekers and Work Seekers through Work & Worker.

Requesters may be required to provide accurate identification, business information and the purpose of the request.

Work & Worker may review, verify, approve, reject or restrict contact requests based on applicable platform requirements, consent, privacy considerations and legal obligations.

Submitting a request does not guarantee access to any individual's contact information.

Approved recipients must use the information only for legitimate employment, recruitment or work-related purposes.

Recipients must not resell, redistribute, publish, misuse or disclose the information to unauthorized third parties.

Work & Worker may suspend or restrict access where misuse, fraud, unauthorized disclosure or violations of these Terms are identified.

Additional services, where available, may be governed by separate applicable service terms.
